You can try a Hallmark store for the black paper. I found double sided wrapping paper that was solid black on one side and a pattern on the other about a month ago. It’s $4 a roll or 2 for $6. I think Wal-Mart stocks Hallmark brand wrapping paper as well. At least it does at the one near me. You can also try a Dollar Tree store, but I haven’t seen any solid black wrapping paper rolls there, just primary colors. =/
I realy love the bear annd would like to make it I was wondering if you could tell me how many pieces were used and how tall the pieces have to be like the hoght of the legs arms and body i saw you deviantart description and it helped alot but im stuck thanks!!!!!
This turned out really good! I like how everything is made out of 3d origami and it looks like a teddy bear.
Thank you. It was initially supposed to be a teddy bear and a vase of flowers, but I …..got sidetracked. =P
I really like this. What size pieces did you use?
Thanks! They’re standard sized pieces. 1/32 of a sheet of printer paper.
Sorry for the untimely reply. =/
thanks. A friend of mine wants me to make one to give to his girlfriend. wish me luck.
Hahah. I find it amusing that he doesn’t try it himself. Time constraints I would guess. Then again, it’s not for everyone.
I wrote about the bear in a bit more detail at my deviant art account here: http://o0dreammyst0o.deviantart.com/gallery/#/d2pd2ek
Also, I saw you asking about black paper. In a pinch you could try getting black wrapping paper and just cut it to size. Hope this helps.
I did get him interested in it. He has one of my books. As for the wrapping paper I’ve used it before but it seems to be a seasonal item around here.
Nice! I hope he takes a liking to it. =]

This is nice ! I like how you glued on a open triangle for his nose !
This is a great Mother’s Day gift! It’s so cute and the flowers are beautiful!
I love your creations … especially the teddy bear
