3DO Network Featured Artist – Danielle

When I first got into 3d Origami I used to search the internet for everything 3D Origami and that’s when I first saw Danielle’s artwork.  I knew of her because I saw this cute squirrel she made and then I noticed a lot of her Mini 3D Origami.  I think  she is very creative and is a big part of our 3D Origami Artist Network.  Here’s what Danielle has to say:

Hi! I’m Danielle and I’m 21 years old. The first time I saw 3D origami was about 5 years ago I think. It was on a market where they sell some stuff. I made a chinese dragon and a swan, But after that I stoped with folding for 2 years or so. After that two years I saw it on the internet again, and I stated to fold. I really love it since then. I’ll never stop folding for so long anymore, but I also wanna do other stuff… like Drawing, Bead-working and Amigurumi. But I like walking and reading also.  David foos and Juwelia7777 influence me the most, but everything around me can inspire me, like pictures or nature.

My biggest trick is for folding small pieces to cut your paper in half, so you have to fold it one time less, it will be thinner.
