I am looking to make a 3D origami bowl and I am unsure of how to start it. If anyone knows of how to start a 3D origami bowl with a completely closed bottom, could you give me a message. Any help would be greatly appreciated. This is some pictures of what I am wanting to make. http://www.flickr.com/photos/dunner_family/sets/72157608971332397/with/3058941919/

    • As far as I know, you start with a 4 piece base (like a square), then every second row you add pieces to double it, so 44 88 1616 3232 ect. After you do that to the desired base sizes, you flip it over so the inverted pieces are at the bottom with the normal pieces being on the inside of your bowl, then the sides of the bowl are normal pieces on the outside.
