Thank's to David Foo's tips I was able to make this Parrot

    • Great work!

    • It’s really amazing 🙂

    • hi can u share the diagram for this or how to do this great art.i will really really appreciate it..i like your works 🙂

      • ahaha sorry but i dont use diagrams 😛 i tend to improvise so none of my stuff ever looks the same as no triangles are ever the same, so every time, something will look different. But if you take a look at David Foo’s bird and compare it you will get a fair idea of how to make it. If you need any tips or info about the parrot structure then feel free to ask either of us, David is amazingly helpful 🙂

Main thing thing i can say is that i made mine with base 30 for the body. Throughout the neck and head was where much improvising took place, i just kept removing one triangle every like 2 or 3 layers so to give it a more curved shape.
The body and beak i used 3.7 x 5.2cm paper as i folded an A4 paper by 8 length ways and 4 times width ways to give me 32 sheets.
The wings were 4.5 x 7.5cm though i think it could have been larger.

On advice i would give is to fold all the triangles first, then put them together in one go as then u can mould the shape before the glue dries, and once it does dry, it will become stiff and the wings wont be so flimsy and weak. But good luck, I’d be happy to offer more advice 🙂 just regret that i didnt take photos as i made it 🙁
