This is PVA glue watered down ever so slightly, and while the piece looks plastic now, it is not the wow factor shine I was looking for, suggestions? Thank you 🙂 I have tried paint gloss's but they only give a plastic sheen.-
so u watered down PVA glue, and brushed it all over the model to make it stick together? could u explain a bit more on how u do it?

not to stick it together but to make it shiny, I stick the pieces anyway, but this makes it waterproof. However it is not as shiny as I had hoped

This has the shine wow factor… well at least as best as you can get. If you want REALLY shiny you have to use shiny paper… maybe from gift wrapping paper or online you can find iridescent paper.

Ah this looks amazing so far!! Um…how about a tessellation origami wings? Like a Origami magic ball pattern, where you can extend it? It would fit in with the 3DO because it is also very intricate.
