Oh my goodness, I pretty much just fell in love with this.
Where do you get your paper? I can’t find a light peachy colour or black printer paper anywhere.
-
I had a really hard time too looking for these colors
It wasn’t about 4 months ago til I found these colors
The light peachy color you can get at Walmart (in the computer paper section, look for the packet that states paper, not card stock) and Michael’s (it’s this huge stack of multi-colored paper, near their card stock section)
Black was very…[Read more]-
We haven’t a “Paper Source” here….having a very difficult time finding black paper, other than card stock. :o(

Would you mind if I attempted to make a Batman inspired by this?
-
Go for it! 🙂
I have a blog that I show my progress of Batman. Check it out and see if it helps. It doesn’t tell you step by step, like how many pieces in each row, but it’s somewhat broken down. Link: http://anirbas-art.blogspot.com/
I just ask that you credit me 🙂

-
-
awww what a cute bird 🙂
-
thanks!
-
-
Did you make that bird?!? that is the cutest thing ever i swear! How did you make it.
-
yes I did make him ^^ you have to make a ball actually, create some spikes on the head, wing/beak/eyes are glued on it 😉
-
Oh, i does look like a ball now i really look at it! ha-ha still good job! I am so gonna try to make one.
-
haha 😉 good luck 🙂
-
I love all of your work, i am amazed at all your mini, mini pieces! I find them facinating to my beginner brain. I was wondering if you could tell me how you got this “birdy” so perfectly round? Also what do you use for the final shine factor? Find it so eye catching. Thank you
-
Thank you Lisa! I do love to make such small pieces!!
To make it round, I only decrease at the end…and then I mold it a bit!
to make it shiney I use varnish! gives that little special touch 🙂-
Oohh thank you for your expert advice! You make it sound wayyyyy easier than it really is. I will keep trying! 🙂

haha, I know, But I do make 3d origami for a while 😉

this is amazing Dave! can’t wait till it’s finnished!
-
Thank you All !!!! Since it’s so hot this week, i’ve just focused on making pieces. going to wait for the week end to add more.
-
you are welcome!
-
-
AMAZING!!!Did you glue the wings?
-
yes, all the pieces were glued. Couldn’t figure out how to do it any other way.
-
Thanks !!! 🙂
-
But the wings are double. How did you do them to look like this?
-
it has two layers. I used a wire coat hanger between the two layer to stiffen the wing, so that they wouldn’t sag.
-
One more (and the last question) ;DD How did you make spaces on the wings so the bird looks very realistic?
-
by inverting pieces in a line give the illusion of individual feathers.
-
Thanks!I think i will try to do something like this. This bird is my favourite of all your origami. 🙂
-
I have to admit it’s one of my favorites also.

I love this flower ball!
I saw the tutorial and i think i would try to make it one day! Seems so difficult!-
Thanks, yes it looks diffucult but if you have good paper and good glue then it’s not so hard to make one.I had very bad glue so it was very hard to make this ball.
-
thanks for suggestions, i will try!
-
If you make one – post it’s picture.I would like to see. 🙂

i surely will Ernestas! i think i will try after Christmas.

Wow, i am so impressed by all that can do such wonderful mini pieces! Incredible patience i’d say!
-
Thank you so much!!. No, I don’t have patience because I’m making a big yoshi and a mario bros for my cousin and I’I’m going crazy with the proportions so I prefer small models. ^-^
-
-
I honestly think it would take patience & so much talent to do the mini art! How on earth do you fold such tiny triangles & work with them? I just can’t imagine….
-
It’s true, it takes more longer to fold small triangles. ^^
-
-
oh it’s sooo cute. It looks as if it wants to hug us all =). Really good job!!!

Thanks you so much!!! @-@

Chest: r1: 9p, r2: 8p; r3: 9p, r4: 8, r5: 9p; r6 : 8; r7: 7….r13: 2p ( bend slowly row by…[Read more]

Than you for your doing ways. But I don’t understant “start with 18 pieces and 8 rows with 18p after that chose 9p for make chest…” 18 pieces 8 row ?..
Do u ever make a simple swan? The body start like u make a swan, make 1 round with 18 pieces and do it again…. till u have 8 rows .In row 8 u have 18 pieces, spilt it become 2 parts and make the chest with 9p… Hope u understand my mean, my E is not good
Yes, I got it . You glue two parts? Thank you very much for your patient. I done every part and try to connect together. It is not easy… anyway thanks alot.
Never mind If U still dont understand just need to ask me 🙂 . Yes, it’s hard work . Hope I can see your peacock soon 🙂
really fantastic!!!!!!
Thank u! 🙂
