I had started it in April and I finished it two weeks ago but I gratuated in June at the University of Szeged. Anyway, lot of work… 😀

Put triangle on tip of needle nose pliers. squeeze the pliers just a little..to hold in place. -

Had a great idea that works for me. Hopefully it will work for you. I have bad hands. So to form the triangles. I took a pair of needle nose pliers. Put the triangle on the pliers and shaped the triangle. You do not have to press hard to shape. It saves my hand from cramping up., -

Hello everyone. I am a newbie of 3D origami. I would like to know where I can get Black paper that you use. If anyone can tell me please.

@ angelxwing, thank you. My Micheal’s does not carry that..I can not even find just black scrapbook paper.

I use the black cardstock paper because I can’t seem to find any thinner black paper from around this area.

I tried cardstock paper. It was just to hard to fold. Thank you anyway. I’ll still try to find some..somewhere. hahaha

I learned this technique from somewhere on this site that if you try cutting the rectangle in half and then fold (skipping the first step where you fold the rectangle in half), it makes the folding slightly easier and the triangle is not as thick. It does really help. ^-^

haha no. I found out about that technique fairly recently so I haven’t had the chance to actually build something with the cardstock paper..I’m still working on folding more so I can make something big out of it. 😀
