The easier stuff I can do. My big projects are near impossible to do. I don’t think I could even duplicate some of it. It would always be a little different then the last one.

lol that’s why I never do the same project twice, cause the second time never turns out as well as the first for some reason :/ originals are always the best 😀

All of my larger models are made by looking at photos. I wish I knew how to diagram them also.

This diagram is easy to read, and i like that you use arrows to show where the piece should be. Only thing, maybe triangles should be a little bigger.

I agree on the bigger triangles. My next diagram has much bigger ones. Thanks for you input.!!!!:-)

Thanks for the diagram! I am working on the night owl version at the moment to use up loose pieces, but I have to fold more black pieces in order to finish. =/ While working on it, I noticed that in the diagram, the orange triangles towards the middle are suddenly inverted when they shouldn’t be. I thought you’d want to know.

If you are talking about the chest area, it’s to make it look puffed out. let me know which rows you are referring to so I can better understand.

I see what you’re talking about. That is an error. I’ll work on correcting it. Thanks. never noticed that before.

No problem. I think I caught another mistake though. While looking at the picture of the owl and then the diagram, I noticed that you forgot to include the different colored pieces that frame the face. Looking at Mindaugas’s attempt confirms this, unless you meant to do this of course.

This will change up your pieces count, obviously. =] ON that note i think you miscounted the orange pieces to begin with unless they escaped my vision.

actually I added 2 extra to the count. Intended. I wrote down what I had in my notes. I always make extra just in case I have I problem with one or two

My original diagram does have the colored pieces for the sides of the face. It’s something new I tried just for an experiment.

Ah, okay. I was just curious about it.

It you think the added color on the face is better I’ll change the diagram for it. I have to do some corrections on it anyway. Like to know what you think.

Personally, I think it’d be a nice touch. It’ll match the wings and tail and add more detail. I noticed those pieces first while looking at the night owl picture. You are the creator though, so do as you wish. It’s still an awesome project nonetheless.

I think I will add it in. Thanks you for the suggestion and the complement. I’ll get on the update and try to have it ready by the week end. May have a second one done by then also.
