Don’t know if you live in the US, but staples has some great black paper. and it’s not expensive.

I live next to a Staples, but they don’t have it 🙁

It’s usually near the stationary paper. It comes in packs of 10 for about $2.50 or so. If not try black wrapping paper. Hallmark stores carry if most of the time.
